Labor Compliance Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Labor Contract Administrator to staff an exciting new $330 million dollar project we have undertaken at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This project is part of LAX’s Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) which will lessen traffic around the airport by providing passengers and employees additional transportation options to access airport facilities.  The Labor Compliance Administrator will be primarily responsible for preparing and submitting weekly certified payroll. 


  • Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports for self performed work.
  • Review Subcontractors’ certified payroll reports for compliance and submit to agencies.
  • Promptly respond to Agency or Owner identified discrepancies.
  • Identify, prepare, collect and timely submit various forms required for each agency and job.
  • Research and resolve prevailing wage issues. Keep updated on changing regulations.
  • Assist with payroll.
  • Occasional job site visits for pre-construction meetings may be necessary.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


  • Knowledge of Federal & California prevailing wages, union wages and fringe benefits is preferred.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Associate degree in Business, Accounting or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of previous certified payroll experience at a General Contractor level.
  • Labor compliance experience is preferred.
  • Previous payroll processing experience is helpful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Ten Key by touch.
  • Must be very organized and possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
